The Bismarck Palm is an incredible plant with silvery to white foliage often tinged with pink. It is surprisingly hardy and adaptable to the Bay Area albeit a bit slower growing than in Southern California and warmer more tropical climates. This is a good thing because this plant can get very large in proportion. Use it as a striking contrast to darker foliage material or architecture. Becomes very drought tolerant with age.
